Booking Terms & Conditions
Tattoo Studio at Camp VC 2026
Last updated: 11 July 2026
By booking a tattoo at Camp VC 2026, you agree to these terms. Your booking is a separate contract with Rae's Anatomy (Rachel Wilding Downes trading as Rae's Anatomy), not with Camp VC / VC London Ltd.
1. Eligibility
- You must be 18 or over and able to show valid photo ID (passport or driving licence) at your appointment. We cannot tattoo anyone under 18, or anyone whose ID we cannot verify, under any circumstances.
- You must hold a valid Camp VC event ticket to access the studio.
2. Booking and payment
- A booking is confirmed once you have selected a design and slot and paid a deposit of £40.
- The deposit is deducted from the final price of your tattoo. The balance is payable on the day, before the tattoo begins, by card or cash.
- Prices are as shown at the time of booking.
- You're welcome to book more than one design if you'd like - each is a separate booking with its own £40 deposit and balance.
3. Deposits, cancellation and no-shows
- Your deposit is non-refundable if you cancel. This reflects the reserved time and the fixed, one-off nature of the event.
- If you need to reschedule, you can move to another available day or time yourself up to 48 hours before your appointment at the reschedule page, using your booking email and booking number (the Operation code on your confirmation email). Your current slot is held until the new one is confirmed. Within 48 hours of your appointment, or once the event has started, email tattoos@campvc.raesanatomy.com and we will try to accommodate you subject to availability, but cannot guarantee it.
- If you can no longer attend, a name change and deposit swapmay be possible where you find a replacement yourself, with at least 48 hours' notice before the festival. Email tattoos@campvc.raesanatomy.com to arrange it. Any replacement must meet the eligibility requirements above and complete a consent form before the appointment. This is not guaranteed.
- In the unlikely event we cancel your slot and cannot offer you a suitable alternative, your deposit will be refunded in full.
- If you do not attend your slot, arrive too late to be tattooed safely, or arrive unfit to be tattooed (see clause 4), your deposit is forfeited and the slot may be reallocated.
- Because tattoo appointments are for a specific date at a specific event, the usual 14-day distance-selling cancellation right does not apply.
4. Our right to refuse or stop
We may decline or stop a tattoo, without refund of the deposit, if:
- you cannot show valid ID confirming you are 18+;
- you have not completed your consent form;
- you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
- your health disclosures or skin condition make it unsafe to proceed (this is at the artist's professional discretion);
- you behave abusively or unsafely, or breach Camp VC's event rules.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give honest and complete information on your consent form.
- Follow the aftercare guidance provided. Once you leave, the care and healing of your tattoo is your responsibility.
6. The tattoo itself
- A tattoo is permanent. Designs, placement and colours are agreed before we start; small variations are a normal part of hand-applied work.
- Healing and final appearance vary between individuals and are not guaranteed.
7. Liability
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- Subject to that, we are not liable for outcomes arising from information you did not disclose, or from failure to follow aftercare guidance.
8. General
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Our handling of your personal data is explained in our Privacy Notice.
